Basic membership is free and available to everyone. There is no need to become a financial CCA member to access the website and use all of the public website features. The clubs core principles are to connect people and promote Cyclekarting, so cyclekarts.org.au community access will always be free.
Full Membership is recommended for all members, especially CycleKart owner / builders participating in CCA events. This is our standard membership level. Full membership includes permanently allocated drivers number and inclusion in the club Cyclekart registration scheme, which includes a free chassis plate for your Cyclekart. It also includes family access to club resources and events, but only allows the registered member themselves to participate in dynamic events. If a family member wants to drive in events they will require either their own full, or associate membership.
Associate Membership is aimed at those who are involved in events, but might not necessarily own Cyclekarts themselves. For example they are driving someone else's CycleKart or are marshalling or may be a family member that wants to race the family Cyclekart.
Social membership is aimed at those who want to be a member of the club but are not actively participating in events. Social members are not covered by event participant insurances.
Temporary / Event membership provides a way that people can participate in a CCA event on a once off basis.
Note: Normally, Full, Associate and Temporary / Event memberships include club insurance cover and are intended to allow participation in dynamic events where insurances are required. At present the club insurance scheme is not live, so those memberships are offered at a reduced cost.
