The Cyclekart Club of Australia has a strong positive culture that adheres to the core values of CycleKarting. Membership has many benefits and helps support the ongoing growth of CycleKarting in Australia. The main goal of the club is to connect cyclekartistes across the country and facilitate organising events that help promote the enjoyment of cyclekarting for all.
The club was formally incorporated to help provide a legal entity that can formally negotiate and organise events and events insurances, something that is very difficult to do as an individual. If you need help negotiating with your local council or event organisations, then CCA membership can be of benefit to you. The CCA has a strong focus on safety as this is the main factor that events organisations want to know is controlled. This is why CCA membership is a prerequisite for participation in CCA sanctioned events.
Club membership is available on an annual basis and runs from January to December. 'Early-bird' memberships purchased in November or December will be considered paid up for the following year.
We have several membership plans that are structured to cater for all participation levels.
Full Membership is recommended for all members, especially CycleKart owner / builders participating in CCA events. This is our standard membership level. Full membership includes permanently allocated drivers number and inclusion in the club Cyclekart registration scheme. It also includes family access to club resources and events but only allows the registered member themselves to participate in dynamic events. If a family member wants to drive in events they will require either their own full, or associate membership.
Associate Membership is aimed at those who are involved in events, but might not necessarily own Cyclekarts themselves. For example they are driving someone else's CycleKart or are marshalling or may be a family member that wants to race the family Cyclekart.
Social membership is aimed at those who want to be a member of the club but are not actively participating in events. Social members are not covered by event participant insurances.
Temporary / Event membership provides a way that people can participate in a CCA event on a once off basis.
Website membership is free and available to everyone. There is no need to become a CCA member to access the website. Simply sign up on the home page.
