Body framework

A sheet of aluminium is attached to the underside of the chassis:

Two parallel aluminium ladders are attached to the steel and aluminium subframe as vertical supports for the body:

To give the ladders an even surface to sit on the chassis, a piece of 5mm plastic strip was adhered to either side of the rung nub: 

A pair of aluminium pool slide ladder handles was picked up on marketplace:

and two 30mm dowel rods were inserted into one of the handles:

then two elongated oval holes were drilled through the top rails of the body ladders: 

and the slide handle mounted through the holes then bolted to the body ladder rungs to form a rollover bar. 

Next a couple of bamboo IKEA lounge arm trays were laid in the cockpit as a floor surface.
