Milang Yesterday’s Power Rally

Presented by the Milang Vintage Machinery Club

To be held at the Milang Oval on the weekend of the 17th and 18th January 2026.

Come and join the CCA sand SAVSA display and help share Cyclekarting with the masses. 

A great festival with a variety of things to see...

• And watch the massive Fowler steam tractor
• Tractors of various sizes and weights competing against each other by pulling a loaded sled
• Our feature displays of old Ford cars, Chevrolet trucks, Lanz and Caterpillar tractors, Kaesler engines from Hahndorf, and European motorcycles,
• Displays of working engines, generators, pumps, chainsaws
• The interior of a replica Royal Flying Doctor plane
• Sheep shearing and sheep dog demonstration
• Displays of equipment and tools from former times
• Vintage aircraft
• Working horses.

If you have an old vehicle, tractor, truck, motorcycle, engine, item of equipment, or new working model, you are invited to enter it in one of the many categories for judging. We particularly encourage young people to take up this challenge. You can find full details and entry forms on www.milanghistoricvintage.com. Entries close on 31 December.

Take the free shuttle bus to the Lake for a ride on the historic paddle steamer, Oscar W, and to the Railway museum for a free ride on the light-railway in converted munitions wagons drawn by a BEV.

There will be a good selection of catering and drinks. Stalls relating to old vehicles and machinery and some less common household items will be present.
