Maytag RIP Special cyclekart
This is a walk-around video of my first Cyclekart build!!! It is called the "Maytag RIP Special" and is inspired by the 1938 British racecar called the "Morgan RIP Special".
This is built following cyclekart rules with 17" motorcycle wheels and a 224cc Harbor Freight Predator engine. Pretty much everything else is re-used bits I already had on hand, including bed frames, duffle bags, old appliance parts, old couch leather, old sewing machine parts and etc...
Dimensions as currently configured:
Font track: 38"
Rear track: 40"
Wheel base: 72"
Front ground clearance: 6"
Rear ground clearance: 7"
Highest bodywork: 29.5"
Dash to seat: 30"
Front weight with cast iron Maytag: 174 lbs
Rear weight: 210 lbs
Total weight: 384 lbs
