NSW Cyclekart Barbecue – Meet & Greet!

We're firing up the barbecue and rolling out the karts for a relaxed day with the Cyclekart community!

Sunday 19th October 2025

11:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Camden Town Farm, 40 Exeter Road, Camden

Come along for:

• A static display of Cyclekarts

• Free barbecue lunch (just BYO drinks & chairs)

• A chance to meet fellow local Cyclekartists


Everyone's welcome — whether you've built a kart, are thinking about it, or just want to check out what it's all about.

Peter John Read

Achievements

Peter Read is an electrical fitter and systems integrator with over 20 years’ experience in the electrical and manufacturing industries. His career has taken him from managing a custom switchboard manufacturer with projects reaching as far as the Pilbara, Maldives, Siberia and the Congo, to his current work designing turnkey electrical systems for underground mining ventilation projects.

A passionate supporter of community, creativity and social inclusion, Peter sees CycleKarting as the perfect mix of engineering and fun. His goal is to bring like-minded hobbyists together and grow the CycleKart community in Australia. 

Peter currently holds the position of Club Secretary and New South Wales Representative within the CCA.
