I was talking to a work mate a few years ago about getting a billykart derby happening out here in the north east but nothing happened as usual. I agree Vic park would be a good place to showcase if the numbers were there. It's tough building awareness for things when it's not a mainstream sport or interest.
I do Dragonboat racing for sport and am part of the recruiting and fundraising crew so we're trying to find new members and sponsors so understand how hard it can be. I'm also working on starting a podcast about all the fringe sports, with the aim of raising profiles and participation. Hopefully it goes well.

G'day folks, I'm brand new to the group and live in Adelaide. I've always loved small vehicles, things like Lotus 7's and Morgan 3 wheelers, so am looking forward to building my own little beast.
