The CCA attended the "Yesterdays Power Festival" at Milang at the invitation of the South Australian Vintage Speedcar Association (SAVSA).
SAVSA as you may recall run the Kapunda Test and Tune days that the CCA are gratefully invited to attend.
SAVSA had three TQ class vehicles on display as well as a couple of sidecar outfits.
Unfortunately we were without a Cyclekart to display due to some unforeseen technical difficulties that are frankly too embarrassing to mention. Lets just say that I had completely forgotten about the '55 panelvan in the driveway until it was time to try and get the Cyclekart out.
It was good to catch up with the SAVSA gang again, we had a good chin-wag about all manner of things including the fact that a TQ body is the perfect size for a Cyclekart. Some food for thought right there.

The shows attendance was pretty low and foot traffic pretty much zero, so did not have many visitors to the the tent. The oval also looked pretty sparse with a fraction of the usual exhibitors in attendance. General consensus was that it was likely the difference between the Saturday and Sunday crowds, so it was decided to attend on the Sunday next year.
Still we had fun watching the tractor pulls and checking out the exhibits. I think my favourite of which was the Fowler Traction Engine, running from wood and not coal / coke.

There was also a rather cool looking Model A Ute custom that was very Cyclekart inspiring...

Then there were of course the usual array of vintage engines and curios...
