Seiffert Oval delivered on Saturday 11th, with a solid day of running on the velodrome and a steady flow of interest from the public.

We had a small turnout of karts and members, but a strong showing from the community, with 30+ visitors coming through across the day. A number of people made the trip in from outside Goulburn, including Marulan, Canberra, Yass and Braidwood, which was a great sign of growing interest.

The oval itself proved to be a great venue once again. The surface and layout suit cyclekarts well, and it continues to be one of the more accessible and spectator-friendly locations we’ve run at.

A key outcome from the day was the connections made. We had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of the organising committee for the 100-year anniversary of the first Australian Grand Prix (January 2027), opening the door for potential future involvement.

Overall, a relaxed, low-key day that did exactly what it needed to—get karts on track, introduce new people to what we do, and keep building momentum in the Southern Highlands.
