Hi everyone.

I have recently discovered cyclekarts and keen to build one. Have a friend who is also interested in building one.

We are located in Lockyer Valley Queensland. About halfway between Brisbane and Toowoomba.

I wanted to know if there is any racing for cyclekarts here in Queensland as would like to race.

Have watched videos of the racing in the USA and it looks so much fun.

Regards
Hamish.

Try this place for steel https://orrcon.com.au/products/tubular-steel/rectangular-hollow-section-rhs
They have 1.6 x 75 25 mm in Galv or 2mm painted
I went for painted as I don't like welding Galv And A plan to Cut holes on the inside of frame to reduce the weight

2mm is pretty heavy, the 1.6mm would be lighter. IIRC the US guys use 0.6mm but I could not find it locally.
